This week we were joined by very good friends of the show, Kalby and Chris. It seems like there's always a Raptor game on while we're recording, but we couldn't cut this episode short because we were super excited to talk to our out-of-town friends about what it's like being a sneakerhead outside of the Canadian-mecca of sneakers - Toronto. Welcome to Episode 61, or as we have renamed it, “Episode 1 A.K” (After Kawhi). The Klaw hit the biggest shot in Raptor’s history, and you know we covered everything surrounding the aftermath - including the effect it had on his signature sneaker’s value and worth. After we were finished being giddy about ‘the shot’, this week’s “short episode” turned into a full-fledged discussion on hype and how it has changed, what drives it, and how it’s effected the game as a whole. We also come up with some new terminology for how hype can mold and evolve over the years, called “The Broken Telephone of Hype”.

Well we uploaded the right audio file this week, so we're already off to a better start than Episode 59. True to Size Tuesday fell on the same night as a Toronto Raptor game again, so we got slightly carried away with some hoop talk, but after that we got back in our groove and had a lot of fun running through our usual segments. Alvin tested the rest of the crew on their knowledge of the "Bred" Jordan 4's, and the boys did not disappoint. Our main topic this week touched upon the concept of sneakers that are 'inspired' or take notes from other sneakers. Is it played out? Unoriginal? Or do we kinda mess with it?

“Coming soon" has finally arrived, and Toronto’s newest and wildest consignment experience is here. On this week’s episode we fly through our weekly segments and get into a lengthly discussion with the creative minds behind the ODTO project. We learn how the idea came to be, what steps were taken to ensure this crazy shop came to life, and what went in to creating Toronto’s most elite sneaker destination.
