Well well well, look who decided to record a podcast. They boys are back, and although we were down a man this week, we picked up a free agent who did a great job subbing in. We were joined by longtime friend of the show and Toronto food connoisseur, Carlos Ortiz, aka Los. After getting through some catch-up chats, we jump right into things with Los, who was one of the founding staff of Livestock Toronto, and has worked in the sneaker and streetwear industry in the city for more than 15 years. We get his view on how the local game has changed, and also hear about his life as a brand rep and salesperson for some very familiar companies.

After a week off, the Quaranteam is back at it again as we hit the pod remotely. It was a week of big firsts for the Canada Got Sole families; which inspired this week's fire round question. We moved into some more Kanye x adidas news that gets Alvin feeling some type of way. After that we look back at the summer season that was, and look forward to our favourite season of all, fall.

Two weeks in a row we've been able to record the podcast in person, as a team - and we're loving it! On the day of recording, it was Mamba Day, so of course we have to sprinkle in a little bit of Kobe discussion throughout the episode. We also cover Nike's decision to change their resale platform partner of choice, and have a heated discussion about living arrangements. To close things out, we put on our salesperson hats, and give our best sales pitches for some classic... and not-so-classic... sneakers.

Not only are we back after a week off, but the sound quality is back with an absolute vengeance this week; and that's because for the first time in over two years, we are back and in person as a group! To mark the occasion we talk about some things we're glad to have back, and as well some things we wish never came back. We then move on to discuss the very cool but somewhat controversial story that comes with this year's rendition of the Chicago Air Jordan 1, before hitting on our final topic - sneaker blind boxes.

One week off seemed to have been a good omen, because it left us with some massive news topics to discuss this week! We kicked it off talking about Kanye and his apparent disapproval of adidas' Yeezy Day; and leaves us with the question, will Ye ever make the jump from The Three Stripes? After that we have an update on the Zadeh Kicks saga that makes the story more and more fitting for a Netflix doc adaptation. Finally, we got some news from the Nike x Kobe world; but as has happened with most other things from that corner of the sneaker space - it hasn't come without some controversy.

Make that three weeks in a row for the CGS dudes (before we take next week off), and we're closing out the mini-run with a cute little 'sode. We're back!
June proved to be a busy one for the gang, as we had a ton of things going on in our "real" lives, but we got the crew together for a dope little 'sode. Once again you can tell when we haven't chatted in a while, cause the immaturity is off the charts from the jump.
We kick things off with the question: "after the kicks, whats the most important part of an outfit?" and move to news of Nike trying to fix one of the biggest problems with the Air Force One. After that we have an eventful list of pickups to cover, before jumping in to a discussion about whether or not we think Nike needs to vault the Air Jordan 1.

A week off should have slowed us down, but this is probably one of the better episodes we've pumped out recently!
